ERIC KRAUSE

Hi there, Eric here. (Around Valley Church you'll often hear me just referred to as 'Krause'.) I'm currently a senior at Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, PA. I will be graduating with a bachelors degree in youth ministry in the spring of 2010. My passion for reaching teenagers began in high school because of my own great youth leader's influence. He made a huge impact on my life and really changed the direction of my life. I realized that investing time in teenagers was where God wants me to be.

I've been working with the teenagers here at Valley Church for just over 2 years now and am really excited about where God is taking our community. I whole heartedly believe that being able to minister to teens is all about relationships, and modeling Christ for the next generation.

I just married my high school sweetheart, Deanna, this summer. Deanna and I spend a lot of time just hanging out with kids, trying be as real with them as possible. In addition to my passion for teenagers, I'm also what people would call "mildly obsessed" with physical fitness, and work for two different facilities doing personal training. I would LOVE to answer any questions you might have about physical fitness (but be prepared to hear at least a 15 minute answer) or Valley Church (but be prepared to go to Starbucks and buy me coffee).

So, pretty much, I am loving life and the opportunity to reach out to teens-wherever they are, whenever there ready, and give them whatever they may need-to come to know the person of Jesus Christ.
